Personal data
Vroon will ensure that your personal data are protected in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”) or any other similar applicable local legislation on data protection.
By submitting your personal data you declare that:
- you understand the personal data collected and processed by Vroon will be handled solely for the purpose of the processing procedure, in accordance with the GDPR or other applicable local data-protection legislation;
- the personal data submitted is complete and true;
- you give consent for processing of the personal data;
- you give consent for the transfer of your data between Vroon companies and/or third parties processing your data on behalf of these Vroon companies in accordance with GDPR;
Additionally, by submitting a job application you declare that:
- you authorise Vroon to verify, or have verified on its behalf, all statements contained in your application and to make reference checks. Please note that reference checks will only be carried out with your prior consent;
- you understand that, in the event an employment contract is finalised with you, the submitted data will be stored for the purpose of processing the employment relationship. If no employment contract is finalised with you, the application documents will be automatically deleted two months after notification of the refusal decision.
For the purposes described above, Vroon reserves the right to retain the personal data of candidates for a period of one year. By submitting your resumé, you consent to the retention of your data for this period. Vroon will request your consent for any extension of this retention period. Objections to the retention of personal data can be addressed to the relevant Vroon Recruitment team.
By submitting pictures you declare that you give consent to the use of these pictures (free of charge) by all Vroon companies.
