Happy Vroon24

Our annual Group-wide Safety celebration, known as Vroon24, has started! From noon to noon, across the timelines, we will be contacting all our vessels and offices for a chat about safety.

This year's theme is CELEBRATE YOUR SUCCESSES! We often forget how important it is to take time to be proud of what we have achieved. Doing so helps us stay positive and build new successes as we go forward.

We would encourage you to think about the successes you, your team and your family have accomplished during the past year. Whether they be big or small, Celebrate your successes!

At today’s kick-off, it was 03:00 CET at the Vroon24 Centre in Breda. Our first Duty Officer is Eric Rikken (Group QHSE Manager), accompanied by Mirte Vruwink.

Many thanks to our colleagues in the East, who have started celebrating their Vroon24! We have had some excellent safety chats so far.

Second Officer Phillip Mejorada on Girolando Express told us that they had celebrated a number of successes recently. There was a very successful AMSA inspection and two recent promotions on board! On board Greyman Express, Second Officer Jay-ar Pabio took his time for a good conversation about life on board. They will be having a full crew change at the end of this month, after a long voyage.
