Friesian Express rebranded

Livestock carrier Friesian Express recently visited the PaxOcean Shipyard in Singapore for her first drydocking under Vroon ownership. Purpose-built in 2017, and the youngest livestock carrier operating in the global market, she was acquired in December 2023 and has been hard at work for our clients ever since.

During her visit to the Shipyard, the vessel underwent a change in livery, now proudly bearing Vroon colours and branding. She was coated with Hempel X8 Silicone antifouling paint, designed to minimise hull friction and reduce fuel consumption. This move aligns with Vroon’s commitment to sustainability and operational efficiency, ensuring the vessel performs optimally during forthcoming voyages.

With all maintenance and upgrades complete, Friesian Express is set to head to Fremantle (AU), for loading.

This successful drydocking not only ensures the vessel’s readiness for the journey ahead, but also underlines Vroon's dedication to maintaining a modern, efficient and sustainable fleet.
